Brittany Bohnet: Four Management Lessons from Anna Wintour
Lesson 1: Keep Meetings Short - meetings are long if they go more than seven minutes and everyone knows to show up on time, prepared and ready to dive in.
Lesson 2: Trust Your Instincts - It’s quintessential Anna Wintour: knowing what she wants, making clear decisions and moving on…here is…

I loved this game!!!
I was watching Olympic skiing this weekend and this was all I could think about. They should have a yeti that eats you at the end if you lose.

Hey all -
Lots and lots going on at foursquare HQ these days. We’ve been teaming up with partners left and right - everything from TV (Bravo!) to newspapers (New York Times!) to movies (Valentine’s Day!) to college campuses (Harvard!)
And today we announced a partnership with Zagat aimed at rewarding foursquare users for discovering and experiencing Zagat Rated places in their city. If you’re in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago or Boston you can now “follow” Zagat on foursquare to unlock insider tips about nearby restaurants. And of course, we’ve added a Zagat “Foodie” badge that can be unlocked by dining at some of these Zagat Rated restaurants.
We also hear Zagat is working on a “Meet the Mayor” interview series they’ll be publishing on their blog (awesome!) and that we should look forward to seeing some foursquare features in their mobile apps someday soon. Stay tuned!

Here’s a visually stunning presentation about the state of the Internet. The blogosphere section was particularly interesting.

Strange bedfellows — “Love conquers party differences
“When Rep. Cynthia Lummis of Cheyenne wants to know what time her husband will be home for dinner, all she needs to do is send a message down the hall of the state Capitol to the Senate chamber, and Sen. Al Wiederspahn can send a reply back to his wife over in the House.
“Wiederspahn and Lummis love politics and each other and are serving in the Wyoming Legislature together for the first time since their May 28, 1983 wedding.
“That doesn’t mean they share common political views. She is a Republican, he a Democrat, but they disagree amicably on the issues. …
“Both feel the differences strengthen rather than weaken their relationship because they can learn from each other. …
“[S]ome people were concerned when the couple first started dating that they might unduly influence each other. But their voting records are drastically different and they have even helped kill each other’s bills.”
